What will we do
Together we will discover photography around the city and in the surrounding countryside. You will have the opportunity to take photos with a reflex camera and will thus have excellent shots of Norcia.
We will start from Porta Ascolana, a short ‘door to door’ walk in the historic centre. You will be able to take souvenir photos in the historic center and discover the long exposure photographic technique.
At the end of the walk, together, we will go and photograph some animals on a farm in Norcia, in a silent and fun way we will discover how ‘difficult’ it is to photograph subjects who ‘don’t pose’.
The experience will be mainly technical, the reflex camera with specific lenses will be described: the wide angle in the historic center and a zoom/macro lens on the farm. The part on the farm will be VERY fun especially if you bring children with you.
The cost of the experience is for people aged 10 or over, you can bring children under 10 for FREE. Children who do not pay for the experience will not be able to use the reflex camera to take shots.
Other things to keep in mind
The experience is suitable for people who seek to take better photographs and for people who want to see unique points of view in Norcia.
If children are present, booking as a private group is recommended to be able to shoot without privacy problems.
Who I am
I am Emanuele and I have been working in Norcia since 2000. In this small town and its surroundings I have learned to appreciate the peculiarities that can be observed in person or even better can be saved in a photo, forever.
I have been creating professional services connected to the web since 2010, I have been a certified photographer in the Street View program since 2016 and in 2020 I started my journey as an Environmental Hiking Guide.
With over 100,000 photos taken between events, products and companies I can say that I have a good affinity with what was born as a passion.
What I will provide
Water will be offered throughout and an aperitif will be served at the end of the session.
Equipment and materials necessary to carry out the activities
Each participant must have at least one liter of water with them
We will all have to wear trekking boots, much of the route runs along the white path and in some places it is possible to find muddy areas. If it is winter it is best that they are high shoes with ankle coverage. It is not possible to take the walk with trainers/tennis/sneakers.
Also necessary for variable situations (for all daytime excursions, even in winter with snowshoes): sunglasses, hat and windbreaker suitable for rain.
In winter it is normal to have long trousers, but even in summer it is good to use long trousers because, in the most impervious parts of the route, we can encounter tall grass and having long trousers will allow us to better protect our legs also from possible thorns or insects.
From May to September included, always bring a sunscreen with you to prevent sunburn.
To better remember the day, a good camera to immortalize the environment around us is highly recommended.

No paths with stairs or steps will be used. For those who have mobility problems, the journey from the city center to the farm can be done by car.
The car parks used will all be suitable for disabled people.

Avviso Covid 19
During this excursion it will be necessary to strictly respect the anti-contagion rules and for this reason I ask you, as you are already used to doing, to respect a few simple rules:
- Let’s not greet each other with a handshake
- We try to maintain an interpersonal distance of more than one meter
- During breaks we remain seated at a safe distance
- Before each meal let’s sanitize our hands. If you find yourself in the same car or less than 1 m apart, please wear a mask.
- Let’s not exchange objects, we can’t pass food or bottles to other people.
To participate in the excursions, you will be asked to sign a declaration and the data indicated will be used to communicate any news relating to Covid. I ask each of you to contact me urgently if you test positive in the days following the activity, so as to notify all the other participants and proceed with the post-contact procedures.
