Among the activities carried out by I am late there are the ‘simple’ excursions on the Sibillini Mountains. But let’s go for step to explain you better how they work and understand if they are suitable for your request.
The most popular paths
The Sibillini Mountains, being an extremely rich area of stories and legends, is a place with infinite routes to create excursions of which some are identified as the official paths of the Monti Sibillini National Park.
These official routes are divided into routes for hikers, with all the paths identified with the letter and, paths suitable for everyone designed especially for the families identified as nature trails and outlined by the letter N, perfect paths to go to visit the park with their bike or ebike recognizable with letter B and then the largest ring route that is the GAS (large link of the Sibillini).
All these routes differ from each other mainly in the difficulty: usually the nature routes are easy, hiking routes are designed for a more experienced audience, routes B, usually are longer and do not have insurmountable obstacles for those among nature with a mountain bike. This means that not everyone can take paths and that not all those who go by bike (perhaps in the city) can go to make a bike path.
Obviously the gas routes are designed for expert walkers already used to walking for great lengths and good altitude.
All these routes are always well reported and you will have the opportunity to follow the official tracks that are available on the Park website in multiple versions.

Other hidden paths
But are the official paths the only ones? Not absolutely, as the Sibillini Mountains have an infinite ‘historical heritage’ and this has led to not only have a few dozen paths, in reality there are many historical paths and truly infinite possibilities to intertwine the various paths and create itineraries with a considerable interest.
In this situation you can go to visit the mountains and valleys in an absolutely different way from time to time. Going to mix the various routes you can return every time you want in a certain area and each time you can take a different tour. However, this leads us to have to be careful for our health, for that delese people who are in the mountains with us and, of course, to always think as ‘good family father’. Going to the mountains without knowing the path well and without the right preparation can have unprecedenable results.
All paths can be dangerous and when they are not reported the danger increases exponentially.
The danger is behind an underestimation
The mountain is a truly incredible, fascinating and to live place but it must be kept in mind that this place brings many risks with it.
A quiet walk can become a nightmare if you clash with what was not easily predictable. What? Well, for example, the most common situation is to ‘make mistakes crossing’ and find ourselves in an unknown area which, even if close to the starting point, will not allow us to return to the car for the scheduled time and, even just a small mistake, can lead us to ‘lose’ the way back because then all the indications we have may no longer be valid. It is not impossible to find yourself in front of a sudden bench of fog, and this could be disoriented to the point of making it impossible even to return to our steps. A similar situation for winter when a little snow associated with a little wind cancels the footprints and even only 100 meters become a distance ‘with which to get lost’. All these situations could also be aggravated by a crooked of an ankle or sudden malaise. In the mountains there is not always the telephone signal and this could make it impossible to be achieved by rescue.

As Guida Aigae and as a guide of the Parco dei Monti Sibillini I have identified a series of routes suitable for many situations for you.
Routes near Castelluccio
Round trip excursion to the Pantani di Accumoli, available all year round (about 5 km with about 200 m in altitude) with the possibility of realizing it as a snowshoeing for everyone
Castelluccio ride hiking hike, available all year round (about 6 km with about 250 m in altitude) with the possibility of making it as a snowshoeing for everyone
Ring tour on Pian Piccolo, available all year round (about 7 km with about 350 m in altitude)
Ringing ride on Pian Grande, available all year round (about 9 km with about 500 m in altitude) with the possibility of creating it as a snowshoeing permitting.
Excursion with panoramic ring ride on the Pian Grande, available all year round (about 10 km with about 400 m in altitude) with the possibility of making it as a snowshoeing permitting.
Return excursion to the Zilioli refuge, available from late May to mid -September.
Ring ride on Pian Grande with a visit to Castelluccio, usually proposed for flowering (about 23 km with about 600 m in altitude)
Routes in the Norcia area
Ring ride excursion near Campo di Norcia with the possibility of lunch at the restaurant. and return to the town of fields with a lift on a path near the Campiano stream, available all year round (about 12 km in the basic version with about 350 m in altitude or about 16 km with 600 m in altitude in the full version)
