Faccardi, led by Emanuele Persiani (Environmental Hiking Guide and of the Monti Sibillini National Park), offers customizable excursions based on the duration and level of difficulty, with routes ranging from 2-3 km to 25 km.
Iconic tours and special activities
1. Flowering of Castelluccio di Norcia
Walks through the fields of lentils and spontaneous flowers (mustard, cornflowers, poppies) on the Pian Grande, with breathtaking views of Monte Vettore and Redeemer. Excursions of 3-4 hours or whole days to best experience the natural event. Book all the tours for the flowering of the cultivated fields or book a tour for spontaneous flowering. Upon request it is also possible to activate excursions within everyone’s reach with a visit to the Pantani di Accumoli, in all seasons.
2. Monte vector and panoramic peaks
Reach the highest peaks of the National Park or the most high peaks of the Norcia area such as Mount Patino (1,885 m) or Mount Guaidone, to admire the plain of Castelluccio and the sinkhole, a unique geological rift from above. Monte Vector excursions
3. Naturalistic areas and history
- Fosso dei Mangani: paths immersed in wild valleys, beech woods and ruins of ancient pastoral settlements, such as the lost pian and the Pian Piccolo.
- Piangrande’s disappeared lake: an 11-12 km ring that reveals the bottom of an ancient lake, surrounded by rock formations and mountains.
4. Farms and local traditions
Visits to biological companies to discover the production of legumes, black truffle and saffron, with tastings of typical Norcini dishes.
5. Historical and unusual paths
Old Spoleto-Norcia railway: excursions along the abandoned route, a journey through time between galleries and railway bridges. It is possible to take a beautiful half day walk.
Valle del Campiano: paths that explore less known corners, ideal for those looking for adventure and silence. Excellent excursions for a whole day.
Flexibility and customization
The tours adapt to families, groups or hikers, with options that can be useful to those looking for transfers, farm lunches or additional activities (e.g. horse excursions).

Costs: half -day excursions have a standard cost of 20 euros, one -day excursions have a standard cost of 30 euros to people, excursions for private groups have a variable price based on the time, place and size of the group (each guide should have with it at most 15 people usually, so for more numerous groups it is good to be in several guides.)
